In 2005, founders Madlen Satamian and Keghan Artinian, working for Grizzard Communications, began building one of the most strategic acquisition and media placement teams in modern fundraising history.
As technology and the internet evolved, multi-channel campaigns were developed and executed for The Salvation Army of US & Canada and the nation’s largest Missions, Food Banks, Animal Welfare and Health organizations.
In 2013, Donor Detectives was founded and began serving national direct response agencies as outsourced specialists. Their proprietary software streamlined mail acquisition practices and provided the agencies and nonprofits an affordable, cost effective advantage.
Today, the Donor Detective network has grown to consist of internationally recognized, award-winning creative, digital, analytics, development and service professionals ready to grow your donor base and revenue.

Clients over the past two decades include The Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Food Banks, Rescue Missions, Animal Welfare Organizations, and Healthcare.

Keghan’s keen eye for detail, her perseverance on behalf of the clients, combined with her ability to strategize, has helped many organizations over the last two decades. She’s helped The Salvation Army, Rescue Missions, Food Banks, Animal Welfare, and Healthcare acquire new donors who resonate with their mission and passion. Dee Dee Justice

Dee Dee Justice
Dee Dee is a results-oriented marketing and production expert with over 25 years of experience in nonprofit direct, project management, print production, and creative processes. She has a strong track record of executing direct mail campaigns for nonprofit organizations across the United States and Canada, including The Salvation Army, International Rescue Committee, Food Banks, Rescue Missions, American Red Cross, and Animal Welfare Organizations.
Stephanie Mann
Lead Detective of Print/Production
Stephanie Mann
Stephanie began her nonprofit career working for Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles followed by two humane societies where she implemented fundraising campaigns, coordinated events, and spearheaded donor cultivation and stewardship activities. She has been part of the team since May 2021 and enjoys helping organizations acquire new donors through direct mail.
Ailyn Montes

Ailyn Montes
Ailyn was an operations manager for a decade when she decided to shift her career to digital marketing and fuse her business experience with her creative side. She went back to school and earned a Master of Science in Marketing degree. Now she is able to use her combined knowledge to help nonprofits raise the funds needed to make our world a better place.
Stephanie Cho

Stephanie has been a digital marketer for eight years. She started out as a B2C SEO and content analyst. She then transitioned to manage all in-house B2B digital marketing. Stephanie is now excited to be in the world of nonprofit digital marketing. Her focus is on campaign management & strategy and creative analysis for Rescue Missions and Animal Welfare clients.

Laura was drawn to the nonprofit sector of marketing for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on society. Throughout college, Laura sought positions with nonprofit organizations to gain hands-on experience and deepen her understanding of the sector. Levon Satamian
Levon graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from California State University of Northridge. After graduating, he was exposed to the nonprofit world and realized he could use his digital media and writing skills to make a meaningful impact. He is passionate about helping nonprofits implement their vision by creating compelling content, managing online campaigns, and amplifying their messages to reach those in need.
